FAQ's

What should we wear?

Cocktail hour attire (dresses, jumpsuits, slacks, suits) is recommended, but wear whatever you feel comfortable in! Keep in mind that New Jersey in August can be hot and humid, but there will be AC at the venue. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors. One rule: don't wear white!

Are kids welcome?

We love your kids, but this is an adult-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

While we would love to give everyone a "plus one", our venue size limits the amount of guests we can have. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What about vaccines?

While not required by the venue, we are strongly encouraging that all of our guests be FULLY VACCINATED as defined by current CDC guidelines. We have very treasured elderly and immunocompromised guests that we want to protect as much as possible. For everyone's safety and peace of mind, we request that our guests be fully vaccinated (and preferably boosted as well) prior to attending our event.
If you are not vaccinated, then we require a negative test prior to departing for our wedding and a negative test on arrival to the area. We prefer PCR tests, however will also accept 2 rapid tests. Please contact Em if you have any questions about this.

How do I get to the venue?

If you're staying at the Hilton next to the venue, you just need to walk down the waterfront about 5 minutes to get to the Aquarium. Coming from Philly, you will need to drive over the bridge into Camden (10-15 min drive). We are not providing transportation, but there is free parking for our event at the Aquarium.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

We will have a space on the RVSP page to indicate any dietary restriction and/or allergies you have. Please, even if you know we know about them, help us out by indicating them on your RSVP (we have a lot on our plates! *wink wink*)

Open bar?

You know it! Please drink responsibly, be safe, and above all DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!!! We are happy to help you arrange appropriate transportation if you do not feel safe to drive.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony and reception to post on social media?

We don't want to restrict pictures, but please NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY during the ceremony! We also ask that phones be completely silenced during our ceremony (including camera shutter noises and keyboard clicks). We will have professional photographers and a videographer, so absolutely no pressure to capture the moment if you'd rather just enjoy it tech-free!
