Wedding Party

Tom BenGera

Stu's first week at TCNJ, Tom invited Stu to meet some friends and drink his beer. While Tom has grown, married, had 3 beautiful kids, and moved many times, Stu continues to visit under the assumption the invitation was in perpetuity.
Tom has been a best friend and confidente despite the two living on opposite coasts. The friendship and love has since expanded to Em, and when planning the wedding, both Em and Stu knew that having Tom was the perfect officiant to make their wedding ceremony as special as it could be.

Tilly Ryan

Em and Tilly lived on the same floor freshman year at Tufts, and were roomies throughout college (except study abroad years). Over a mutual love of food, silliness, night crafting, and really random road trips, they became each other’s sisters from other misters. Tilly is also a physician assistant and actually introduced Em to the profession!

Doug Mead

When Stu shared the news of his engagement, friends and family were shocked that Doug was not on the receiving end of the proposal. Doug and Stu have been best friends since they were 12 and they have followed each other around the country.
"Dougie" has gone coast to coast, starting as an Army Officer and transforming into a successful Software Engineer. This always active self-starter is usually running around SF or hitting the slopes in Park City with his fiance, Kristin.

Ashley Tang

Middle school is no one’s favorite, but at least it brought Ash and Em together! From weird teenage crushes, Franz Ferdinand choreography, and backyard photo shoots to joint bday adventures in Mexico, there’s no one Em would have rather “glowed up” with!

Albee Gartenberg

While Albee is a fellow NJ native, they met in San Francisco after work sent them both West. Despite having some odd movie preferences, Albee is an exceptional roommate. Stu learned this first hand during the pandemic while Albee mastered the kitchen (despite never using the mandolin Stu bought him in Germany). On any given day you can find Stu and Em hatching plans to get Albee to move to Oakland.

Cindy Chiang

Em lived with Cindy at the Walnut House when she moved to Berkeley after college. Cindy and Em made it through roommate drama, MCAT/GRE studying, and work craziness powered by boba, donuts, and Cheeseboard pizza. Our metabolisms might not be able to handle this diet anymore, but you can always trust CC to find the best restaurants in the Bay!

Chris Skae

At TCNJ, Stu was visiting a good high school friend when he met Chris. Stu knew early on that Chris was a special person and would be a great confidant. So, after a little fraternity hazing, they were allowed to officially be friends! And he has remained an important part of Stu's life for over 10 years.
In addition to being an impressively handsome Groomsman, Chris is also the artist behind the wedding invitations.

Kristen Taft

Em and KP were desk buddies and work wives at Cal Sports and Orthopedics in Berkeley while Em was taking post-bacc classes before PA school. Through a mutual love of Rosé and good food, and a mutual hate of nasty entitled patients they became super friends. Em could survive on KP's killer salads alone!

Jon (Bon) Waltz

Simply put, Jon is one of Stu's best friends and has been since meeting at TCNJ. After college, they began a tradition of an annual trip starting with Costa Rica. The adventures and excitement carry on.
Jon is a difficult man to pin down. After many career changes he now plays a scuba instructor, living in Hawaii (subject to change) and avoiding haircuts. He loves seeing the world, but loves his friends more and would do anything for them.
At the wedding, you'll find Jon ordering rounds of shots and asking if he can put his flip flops on yet. The answer is no.

Stacy Millsap

It feels so weird and removed to describe Stacy as Em's brother's fiance because she is so much more than that! She's the family's strongest hugger, most hilarious accent imitator, and official birthday documenter all rolled into one compassionate, fashionable, lovable human being!

Karl Benson

After transferring Sophomore year to TCNJ, Karl befriended Stu with the ultimate gesture of sharing his freshly prepared beer bong. Stu quickly learned that Karl's generosity knows no bounds. When together, you can typically find Karl and Stu talking about football or debating Avicii's hits. The ultimate hosts, Karl and his wife Dana are constantly elevating their mixology and pitmastery skills, which entice friends from all over the country.

Stephanie Gross

Stu's youngest sister is always ready with some grade-A "content" that keeps us all entertained. Not only can Steph laugh at herself (and everyone else of course), but she gives the world's most thoughtful gifts! You can truly tell she cares about the people close to her because she's super supportive and not afraid to tell you how she feels if it'll help make you a better person. Em is so so lucky to have Steph become her sister!

Nate Eisenberg

Seth Rogan's left hand man by day and chubby bunny champion by night. Stu's future brother-in-law is a man with many talents, but most impressive is his ability to make Em laugh. You can always count on Nate's kind heart and flexible jaw to light up a room.
He is an amazing brother to Em, son, and now fiance. Just more evidence that Stu hit the jackpot with Em and the Eisenberg clan.

Sydney Gross

While the middle in birth order of the Gross kids, Syd was always ranked 1st as David and Lori's favorite list. The running theory is that all of the Gross children's 'chill' went right to her. When not acting as house mediator, Syd would master her architecture designs while listening to classic rock.
While we don't get to share this day with her, she will be attending in our hearts.

Ricky Gelband

The legend of Millburn High School's 2010 Golf Team, Ricky's remarkable athleticism is only matched by his thoughtfulness and patience.
Stu's soon to be brother-in-law has quickly indoctrinated himself into the Gross-Duckstein family after successfully running the gauntlet to win Stephanie's affection.

Taylor Campbell

In 2001 Stu and the Gross's moved to the other side of town, to a house with a pool. Now this may be a coincidence, but soon after Taylor and Stu became friends. Never having a dull moment with Taylor, their friendship evolved over the years to wingman and eventually trusted friend.
You can probably find him around NJ making friends and sales. If he introduces himself as Dave, that's his evil twin.

TJ Ivins

One day while Stu was in college, he accidentally wandered into a gym where he met TJ, a clean-cut boy-scout turned Accounting major. Stu, Tom, and Jon took it upon themselves to corrupt his innocence with the promise of beer and football; from that point on TJ became a permanent fixture in their house, and lives. You can find TJ pumping iron or turning heads with his shirtless DIY house projects.

Zach Heller

One might presume that Zach is following Stu around the country, and they would be right. Despite going to college together, they didn't become friends until Zach relocated to Chicago. There they teamed up to trash talk deep dish, convince others to drink mallort, and rub elbows at the posh squash club.
After a lot of begging from Stu and Em, Zach is finally in the Bay Area enjoying northern California splendor and working to put a joint in every home in America!
